looking over your shoulder and seeing The Collar, Chico and Huge talking about something in their current or past lives as the sun sets across a pond. Or standing over a tee shot, head pounding from the 4 extra beers (no, I didn't think to "split one") and having Jack say:"ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZApa" just before swinging mightily, cold-topping it and pull several muscles in my butt (which I hope is smaller than yours)....Or hearing Tommy say:"this is the best bunch of guys in the world" .......Or seeing the Doo and Warner lying in twin beds next to each other and talk about their kids at 2 a.m. Did you know Chris flew in from San Fran for 2 days for this?---And that Doo missed Parents Weekend at Hobart for this? Or Pars...wound tighter than a Palm Beach gigilo's face about serious personal shit---and knowing he's got 11 guys there to listen and watch his back....And yes, the Kid was there doing his video thing, when he wasn't dancing through the shadows at 2 AM with Huge (some things never do or should change)....Oh yes, Talbs did request and get "I don't need no doctah" at midnight one night (I can't remember which).....And there's always a "nickname for the event" from Reed, and this year he decided to call the Collar Otto Preminger (you'd have to be there Vince).....and of course Cahtah....he was talking about his daughter (when he wasn't ripping Chris for anything) playing soccer at Denison this fall--and how the circle keeping connecting...Did you know Peter's daughter goes there too?...And Jack just sat back and enjoyed this one after being so much the driver of the last couple...( although his chainsaw snoring did drive the Collar to a couch) ....and watching guys stand on the top of a 100 foot sand dune in Turo and launch golf balls into the Atlantic against a blue, blue sky and the wind howling....and shit Vince, a whole lot more.
